Alison Scott and Javier Ternero.   A walk through the exhibition

Alison Scott MA is Edinburgh born, went to Duncan of Jordan art school in Dundee and has been a lecturer in the Textile college in Galashiels. Now she lives in Italy and had to send over her paintings to us.
She says; I am passionate about these Spanish greyhounds; they need our help because they're bred as tools for hunting, and they get thrown away.
She is donating half of her proceeds to the British charity who've set up in Murcia, Galgos del Sol.

Javier Ternero is from Seville, Spain although he's lived in Scotland for more than twenty years and went to college in Edinburgh, studying photography.
He says; I work with nineteenth century exposure, development and printing techniques because those processes match how I see people, landscapes and buildings. Once the film is exposed and developed, the negatives are printed by contact, exposing them to the sun, using some processes such as Albumen, Cyanotype, Palladium or Van Dyke.

These paintings and photographs can be bought online and sent to mainland Britain. Please contact us by the contact page and tell us the name of the picture or photograph you are interested in.
