Solo show with themes of the inter-weaving of history, myth, dreams and shadow - marks left by our passing.
The paintings describe Jame’s explorations and revisiting of ancient sites and landscape.
The work is subtle, using pale shades of watercolour, ink and acrylic and black pencil or ink on board or watercolour paper.

James Hutcheson Originally from Alloway in Ayrshire, James trained at Carlisle and Leeds, (where his tutor was the artist Derek Hyatt). He has lectured in design at Leeds Becket University (formerly Leeds Polytechnic), ECA, Napier University and Dundee College of Art & Design. He was creative director at Birlinn Books and before that, was art director at Canongate Books.
