Tony King
Tony King retired from an engineering career twenty years ago, and ‘drifted’ into becoming a woodworker. He mostly made functional items, many of them for artists and craftspeople: furniture, equipment for bookbinders and weavers, display cases, etc.
However, after acquiring a lathe, he discovered the joys of making items with aesthetic qualities as well as functional. He enjoys exploring the attributes of different timber species.
