Southern Reporter
21st August 2023
21st August 2023
We always read the Southern Reporter (as well as the Independent) -
• because we think it is a lot handier to have a newspaper we can flip through and read again than having to search through our mobiles for news.
• because it's the only way we get to hear about what's going on in the Borders.
• Last but not least, We're very grateful that the Southern Reporter has been very supportive of our gallery; always printing a picture and some text about each of our exhibitions.

We went to the races on Selkirk Common Riding Day last week.
The horses had to get sluiced down by buckets of water after their races; it was so hot and windy.
And Javier won £2.50!

Rembrance Sunday
05th November 2022
05th November 2022
We have a 'pant well' in Selkirk which cyclists remember, works as a clean water supply - it was only made to work this year after many years of being broken.
Some volunteers kindly fixed it.
And Remembrance Sunday is coming up, it has been draped with a net of poppies with shine in the November evening sun.
